1)For the past few months, I have been feeling really low. And after several attempts, I have been unable to understand what is causing this hollow feeling. Overall I am happy, but somehow not truly happy. Please suggest what I should do to feel better. ???

Maybe, then you should try and talk to someone older to you, someone whom you appreciate. Talking is one way of resolving how we are feeling. Another thing that you could do is to plant the question, "Why am I feeling low?" in your sub-conscious, just before you go to sleep. Decide that your sub-conscious knows the answer and will give it to you by marning. And then have a good night's rest, knowing fully well that you will get the answer while you sleep. This is a powerful technique to connect with out inner self. If it doesn't work the first time, try again.

 

2)I am in my early teens and I have trouble controlling my diet. I am a total foodie and I don't have problems accepting that fact. The only problem is that I have grown so much that I can't fit into clothes meant for my age group. So, when my family takes me shopping I have to try clothes that are three sizes bigger. I feel bad because the dresses I like come in miniature sizes. Would it be correct to diet so that I can fit into these lovely dresses? If not, please suggest a better option.

It is interesting to note that youngsters are concerried about their weight. It is your time to dress well and surely you would like your share of the limelight. My suggestion is that you eat less oily food, and sweets. Also, get enrolled in a regular exercise programme. And for your own sake, stop bragging about being a foodie, because then you are justifying it in your mind. Instead, you should start talking positively to yourself. Say things like, I am getting fitter, looking better. This will motivate you to continue exercising.
